Benny Dayal Dubai Concert Brings South Indian Music to Coca-Cola Arena
The Benny Dayal Dubai concert will bring together three major names from South Indian music at Coca-Cola Arena on Saturday, August 15.
The show, titled Thaalam Beats, will feature Benny Dayal, veteran singer Usha Uthup and Kerala-based fusion band Thaikkudam Bridge. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8pm.
For Dayal, the Dubai performance has a personal connection. The singer was born and raised in Abu Dhabi before building a successful career as a playback singer in Indian cinema. His return to the UAE comes as a larger arena performance, giving local audiences an opportunity to see him perform a full live set.
Dayal is known for popular songs including Badtameez Dil, Bang Bang and Ude Dil Befikre. Usha Uthup brings decades of experience across Indian film music, pop, jazz and disco, while Thaikkudam Bridge is known for blending rock with Indian folk and classical influences.
The concert is part of Dubai Summer Surprises and adds another Indian music event to Dubai’s August entertainment calendar. The official Dubai events listing confirms the August 15 date and Coca-Cola Arena as the venue.
The Coca-Cola Arena, located at City Walk, is Dubai’s major indoor entertainment venue and can accommodate up to 17,000 people.
