Biden and Sunak talk Ukraine before Nato summit

Joe Biden and Rishi Sunak discuss Ukraine before Nato summit. The US decision to send cluster bombs supporting Volodymyr Zelenskiy sparks concerns among allies. Despite discomfort among Nato members, the US maintains the need for the bombs due to Ukraine’s depleting weapon stocks.

During their meeting, Biden and Sunak will address their support for Ukraine and its counter-offensive against Russia.

They also plan to talk about the “Atlantic Declaration” trade pact and other international matters, including post-Brexit arrangements for Northern Ireland. Additionally, Biden will meet with King Charles III at Windsor Castle.
