Jennifer Gates, eldest daughter of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, has announced the birth of her first child with husband Nayel Nassar. Jennifer Gates shared the news on Instagram by sharing a photo of the couple cradling their newborn.

“Sending love from our healthy little family,” she wrote in the caption. Bill Gates also shared the same photo on his Instagram Story, telling the new parents how proud he is. Melinda French Gates also expressed her delight at the news.
“Welcome to the world,” Melinda French Gates commented below her daughter’s post. “My heart is overflowing,” she added. Jennifer’s sister Phoebe also responded to the news with a heart emoji.

Jennifer Gates is studying to be a doctor. She reportedly met her husband on the equestrian tour and has also competed internationally with him. The couple will marry in October 2021. Last November, they announced they were expecting their first child.
Talking about being a grandfather, Bill Gates had said earlier, “I think you help kids mostly by setting a good example and giving them time when they want. I want to have a lot of time to share with the grandkids I have. My fascination with the world of my grandfather.”
