Black powder: In Abu Dhabi, everything is pink. Blackpink’s Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa wowed audiences with rousing renditions of their biggest hits including Savage Love, Lovesick Girls, Playing with Fire, Pink Venom and Shut Down. Starting at 5.30pm, fans lined up for hours for the 8.30pm show, dressed in theme colors and carrying the iconic Blackpink glow stick Bi ping-bong. Many fans started singing popular songs such as Boombayah before the performance.
Lisa performed a powerful version of Lalisa
Fans yelled as Blackpink made his dramatic entrance amidst a cloud of fireworks. They also expressed their admiration for the city, saying it was their favorite place because of the picturesque scenery. Each member also played their own solo, especially Lisa, who delighted fans with a powerful version of Lalisa. They also brought Rose’s birthday early, considering the singer’s birthday is Feb. 11.
After sharing the video on Twitter, one fan wrote, “Seeing her cry, she makes Blinks AbuDhabi feel like on the dance floor, everyone is attracted and amazed by her, even his charm in very dim lights She let us go crazy and scream hysterically.”
BLACKPINK world tour starts on January 7th
From January 7th to 8th, 2023, Blackpink 2023 World Tour Concert kicked off in Bangkok. The members traveled to Hong Kong from January 13th to 15th, Riyadh on January 20th and Abu Dhabi on January 28th. They will travel to Kuala Lumpur on March 4, Jakarta on March 11-12, Kaohsiung on March 18, Manila on March 25 and 26, and Singapore on May 13. After a long break, the band returned triumphantly last year with a massive European tour. They both performed well at the MTV VMAs, with Lisa winning for Lalisa.
