Jennie of K-pop group Blackpink revealed what she always keeps in her Chanel bag in a new interview with Vogue Japan. She presented two luxury brand bags, one smaller and one larger.
Of her mini bag, she claims: “This is my compact mini bag with some of the things I need in life.”
The first item in her mini bag is her phone, which shows that she is a very affectionate texter. “It holds my phone. I use my phone to text people. I like to give my heart to [them]”
The next item is her headband for whenever she needs to tie her hair up. “Of course, my hair can also be used as a bracelet if you want.”
Like many other icons, she always has AirPods with her. “I have these AirPods. When I’m traveling in the car or on the plane, I listen to meditation music. Just plug them in and zip them up.”
The final item in her mini bag was a gemstone jewelry purchase she made in Los Angeles.
For her large bag, she explained that it contained many items she might need in an emergency. “I guess, I’m like a mom when it comes to bags. For me, I think when moms are out and about with their kids, they always have all the ‘emergency’ items in their bag. So I think It’s like being a mom to myself.”
First, she always carries a trusty bobby pin. “We started with a bobby pin to tie my hair up when I needed it.”
Next up is her cat bag, which she admits she has no specific use for but just bought for the way it looks. “I thought it was cute so I bought it and then I just forced myself to put something in it.”
Several other items include skincare products such as jade rollers, mirrors and scar repair masks. She still has a key ring and medication given to her by a friend.
“It’s just a medical supply in case of an emergency.”
When she’s inspired, she takes pictures with a film camera. “I have a cute film camera that I keep in my bag in case I want to capture any moment in my life. Usually it’s someone I’m taking the photo with, or a cute puppy, or just happens to be near me animals. But I don’t use flash because they don’t like it.”
