VICE STUDIOS and Library Films to produce first full-length documentary about band
Angel, March 22, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — BMG, Fremantle Documentaries and Warner Music Entertainment (WME) proudly announce their first feature film collaboration DevoreThe upcoming feature-length documentary will also be the first-ever fully licensed film by a new wave/rock band. Bertelsmann’s BMG and Fremantle Documentaries and WME are executive producers and financiers of the film, which own all rights worldwide.

Currently in production, Devore Documents the story of the Devo band, from their kent state Carnage, during their years as politically driven outsiders, surprisingly hit the top of the charts with their breakout single “Whip It Up.”
Formed in 1973, Devo initially banded together as performance artists, disappointed and radicalized by the shooting. kent state They are a place for students.their art is a commentary on corruption U.S.the “fooling” of an entire generation by mass media, and the commodification of a toxic society.
