Brad Pitt plans to take a step back from Hollywood.
The 59-year-old star remains one of the biggest names in cinema – but Brad is reportedly planning to quit Hollywood after selling his 60 percent stake in the production company he founded with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six column: “Brad has decided he wants to live a quiet life and is deciding what ‘semi-retirement’ looks like for him.”
The film star has sold a 60% stake in his production company to a French media group. However, he intends to continue acting.
A second source told the publication: “One of the things he decided on was that he might continue acting.”
Meanwhile, Brad made a concerted effort to come to his senses after breaking up with Angelina Jolie.
The actor previously revealed that he feels “safe” at Alcoholics Anonymous, and that he’s found a “very private and selective” group of people who will live up to his trust.
Brad – who was married to Angelina between 2014 and 2019 – explained: “I have a really cool group of guys here who are very private and selective, so it’s safe because I’ve seen other Human stuff, like Philip Seymour Hoffman, people who get recorded as they pour out their hearts, it’s just too cruel for me.”
After successfully quitting his smoking habit during the COVID-19 pandemic, Brad remains on a mission to improve his health.
The Moneyball star initially tried to limit his smoking – but he eventually decided to pursue his ambitions wholeheartedly.
He shared, “I don’t have that ability to just do it once or twice a day. It’s not in my makeup. I’m all for it. And I’m driving to the ground. I lose my privilege.”
