Sadguru Brahmeshanandacharya Swami was awarded the “Global Peace Prize” by the World Peace Council for his contributions to humanitarian causes that promote peace, unity and upliftment of society at the national and international levels.
Sadguru received the award with the slogan “End Racism, Build Peace” at the Global Peace Summit 2022 at the Dubai World Trade Center – which coincides with World Peace Day on Wednesday.
Addressing the summit, the spiritual leader said he was very pleased that Dubai was developing into a center for global peace initiatives.
“Religious leaders have a responsibility to promote peace in society, to promote [spiritual knowledge] To enable mankind to live a peaceful life,” Sadhguru said.
“Peace is not something that can be experienced from the outside, but must be felt from the heart to radiate.”
“Therefore, the requirement of community leaders is to achieve [out] for everyone [and] Let them understand the value of peace and unity in life irrespective of different religions and castes in the society.
