Britain’s Got Talent has been announced before dance miracle Judge Bruno Tonioli This year will replace panelist David Walliams.

It was big news in the world of entertainment programming, not only because Tonioli worked for years at rival broadcaster the BBC, but also because the BGT jury has remained unchanged for a decade.

On Tuesday, BGT shared a photo of the 67-year-old Italian dancer and choreographer in his new seat, and Tognoli said: “Here we come, Britain’s Got Talent. I’m so excited. It’s my first A show, I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m sure it’s going to be great.”

Cowell and Holden have been around since the early days of Britain’s Got Talent but have been joined by the controversial broadcaster for the first four series Piers Morgan.

Although such a Mr Nasty was too much of a risk for a judge lineup, it worked remarkably well for its duration – until Morgan left to start his US TV career.

In those days, there were only three seats on the panel, though Kelly Brook was brought in as an extra judge for season three.

However, less than a week after she started, show bosses decided a fourth judge was too complicated, so she was credited as a guest judge.

Cowell’s longtime X Factor pal Louis Walsh also debuted as a guest judge in season four, when Cowell was ill and unable to attend some auditions.

The show’s first major lineup change came in season five, with Morgan breaking out of America, followed by Cowell with America’s X Factor.

Holden is the only original panelist left over from the entire series, though Cowell did manage to return in time for the live show as a fourth judge.

Meanwhile, Holden was joined by Baywatch star David Hasselhoff and comedian Michael McIntyre, though the combination was short-lived as neither new signing wanted to return for season six.

Walsh returned as a guest judge in one round of auditions, providing cover for Hasselhoff, who was performing pantomime.

From Britain’s Got Talent season six until 2022, the longest lineup begins.

Cowell returned full-time to oversee the panel, Holden remained in her old seat, and the show recruited Dixon and Williams to join them.

Dixon was a judge on BBC Rivals dance miracle But being lured to ITV by Cowell, and Williams finishing the panel, seemed like an odd job for a comedian when McIntyre fit it perfectly.

However, Williams’ reputation as a friend of the contestants appears to be crumbling in November 2022 when protector A leaked recording of the 2020 audition was found, in which he was heard making some very derogatory remarks about the contestants.

Williams apologized, saying: “I want to apologize to those who I made a disrespectful comment between the filming of Britain’s Got Talent 2020.

“These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. I’m sorry, though.”

But the damage was done, with the latest judge finally confirmed to be Tonioli after Alan Carr was rumored to be replacing him.

There have been a few guest judges added over the years — in season six, Carmen Electra did some auditions for Holden as she recovered from the birth of her daughter.

Cowell has a few stand-ins, too, including hosts Ant and Dec hosting a day of auditions for him in Season 8, Williams’ mom Catherine in the audience when he was late in Season 10, and former BGT winner Diversity. star ashley banjo Replace him in series 14 after him electric bike accident.
