Britney Spears is ready to sell her Calabasas mansion.
The chart-topping pop star bought the luxury residence for $11.8 million after winning a high-profile receivership battle — but she’s already keen to sell the property, according to TMZ.
Spears, 41, only bought the mansion in June, which is on the same block as her ex, Kevin Federline. But the blonde beauty hasn’t fallen in love with the striking residence, which she now hopes to sell in 2023.
Still, there’s no guarantee Spears will buy another home in the area, as she bought a Thousand Oaks, California, mansion in 2015 for $7.5 million.
Meanwhile, last year, a source close to Britney revealed that the pop star was the happiest she’s been “in a long time.”
The hit “Baby One More Time” producer won her custody battle in 2021, and despite the drama and speculation, Britney is said to be doing pretty well.
“Britney is in the best shape she’s been in for a long time, but the rumors and conspiracy theories surrounding her need to stop,” the source explained.
Britney doesn’t like the speculation that surrounds her, but she finally feels like she’s in control of her destiny.
The insider shared: “Sometimes it can be like a pressure cooker, but at the end of the day, she’s awesome and finally able to take control of her life.”
Before that, Britney had some fans concerned about her seemingly erratic behavior on social media. But sources insist there is actually nothing to worry about.
The insider explained: “Britney saw something and wanted to share it with her fans. She didn’t care about being dolled up and looking perfect 24 hours a day.
“That’s not her. Everything you see on her Instagram is 100 percent her.
“For Britney, ultimately having autonomy is everything.”
