Brittany Snow Set for Crime Thriller ‘Barron Bay’ – Deadline

The film will be directed by Evan Ali Kelman, who also wrote the screenplay. The film will begin filming later this year.Yale Entertainment’s sales arm, Great Escape, will be presenting the project to buyers at the show cannes market.

Billed as a “poignant” film about the unbreakable bond between father and son, the story follows a grieving father with a violent past whose life is shattered by the brutal murder of his young son. Desperate for answers, he kidnaps the child he believes responsible for his son’s death, setting off a manhunt fueled by the kidnapped boy’s powerful politician father.

The producers are Mandalay’s Jason Michael Berman and Will Reynolds, Yale Entertainment’s Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckman, and Post Film’s Chad Hubbard and Corey Thompson. Executive producers include Russ Postrnak, Clay Pecorin and Peter Anske. Co-producers are Derek Rubin, Parker Hill and Nick Phillips.
