Buchanan’s Thrills on the Hill Announces Entertainment Lineup

BUCHANAN — Buchanan’s annual Thrill on the Hill Event is a weekend festival featuring music, food and a major attraction: The 500-foot water slide that runs through downtown Buchanan has announced the weekend’s musical lineup.
PS Dump Your Boyfriend returns for their traditional weekend debut on Saturday at 8.30pm Saturday’s lineup also includes an opening act by Tentakills, playing a set of proper surf rock tunes for attendees to jam on as they slide down the slide . There will also be opportunities for local celebrities, DJ Big Perm and budding slideshow hype. Beginning at 11 a.m., families drop off their kids and Thrill on the Hill’s adults-only midnight run begins.
Friday’s line-up also includes a major act by The 1985, as well as music by Red Hot Voodoo – bringing surf, country-rock and rock ‘n’ roll with a modern twist – and ThreeShots, a fusion of rock, tavern rhythm and blues. Sunday is our family day. DJ Ron Cornelius will curate games and activities for all ages.
