United Arab Emirates – The first thing any visitor will see upon arriving in Hatta, Dubai, is the huge Hollywood-style sign on the highest peak of the alpine enclave. The uneven placement of the letters spells out Hatta in capital letters in a typeface that resembles the American landmark overlooking Hollywood in Los Angeles from Mount Lee.
The Hatta logo stands 450 meters above sea level in the rugged Hajj Mountains. The 60-meter-tall landmark lights up at night, providing the perfect welcome for visitors at any time of the day.
Adventurous travelers can hike up to the icon and get some beautiful Insta-worthy photos. They can also enjoy a 360-degree view of the beautiful Hada Mountain enclave. The walk to the sign takes about 30 minutes and can be done at any time of the day.
This landmark has a 4.5 star rating on Google. “It’s a 2-hour round trip from Hatta Wadi Hub to the summit, 7km in total… Definitely worth the effort, the views are stunning,” said one critic, Brett.
Anastasia Shevchuk calls it a “beautiful place, especially in winter”. Britta Uschkamp called it “a great photo spot with a spectacular view”.
According to Visit Hatta, “Exploring Hatta on foot is the best way to truly experience Dubai’s largest national park”.
