The International Business Bank (CBI, a Dubai-based corporate and retail bank) announced the official launch of its Metaverse branch.
CBI is the first UAE bank to enter Metaverse and one of the few early adapting banks in the Middle East and the world.
The CBI’s virtual location is now open to visitors and can be found at cbi.dcl.eth in Decentraland or (63, -127) using the Decentraland map coordinates. The CBI’s virtual location can also be accessed through the portal.
Gitex’s CBI
CBI will debut its virtual location while participating in XVERSE, a Gitex Global space dedicated to those adopting Metaverse technology, as an activation partner. The event will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 10th to 14th.
CBI has developed a future-oriented agenda that will take place at their Activation Partner booth during the event, with all plans focused on further exploring the Metaverse and its potential. As part of the agenda, CBI will be partnering with UAE-based burger brand Pickl to demonstrate real-time Metaverse use cases. CBI and Pickl will show how the Metaverse can push the digital economy further with a stunt never done in the Middle East.
