Cemex UAE supplies Vertua to Cavalli Tower

Cemex UAE, a leading provider of building materials, has announced a significant partnership with DAMAC Properties, one of the leading luxury real estate developers in the UAE. Under this collaboration, Cemex UAE will supply approximately 105 km³ of their innovative and sustainable Vertua concrete for the construction of the iconic Cavalli Tower, an impressive 70-storey ultra-luxurious residential building situated in the vibrant Dubai Marina.

The Cavalli Tower is a remarkable project that stands as a testament to architectural excellence and design innovation. In collaboration with the world-famous luxury fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, the tower is set to become a prominent landmark in Dubai Marina, capturing the essence of luxury living and elegance.

With its soaring height and unparalleled sophistication, the Cavalli Tower promises to redefine the skyline of the city.

One of the key features of this ambitious project is its strong emphasis on sustainability. DAMAC Properties recognizes the importance of reducing the environmental impact of large-scale constructions, and in line with this vision, they have chosen Cemex UAE’s Vertua concrete for the tower’s construction.

Vertua is a cutting-edge concrete solution designed with sustainability at its core. It is formulated to meet high sustainability requirements, effectively reducing CO2 emissions by an impressive 36% compared to conventional concrete.

Rafael Villalona, the Country Director of Cemex UAE, expressed his pride in contributing to the Cavalli Tower project. He highlighted how the use of Vertua concrete perfectly aligns with Cemex UAE’s unwavering commitment to sustainability and innovation.

By integrating environmentally friendly building materials into the construction process, Cemex UAE aims to not only meet the highest standards of quality and performance but also make significant strides towards achieving a more sustainable future.

The Cavalli Tower is not only a testament to DAMAC Properties’ pursuit of architectural excellence and innovation but also mirrors the UAE’s ambitious goals for the future. The country’s “UAE Vision 2030” outlines a clear commitment to sustainable development, where environmental conservation and responsible resource utilization play a central role.

As the construction industry continues to evolve, collaborations like this one between Cemex UAE and DAMAC Properties serve as inspiring examples of how sustainable building practices can be integrated seamlessly into ambitious projects without compromising on quality or aesthetics.

Through initiatives like the Cavalli Tower and the use of Vertua concrete, the UAE is taking meaningful steps towards realizing its vision of a sustainable and environmentally responsible future.
