Charlotte Rampling has vowed never to have surgery to change her appearance.
The “Dune” actress, 76, added that she is “fascinated” by the natural aging process and said she was lucky to inherit a “muscular” physique from her father.
Asked about getting older on Sunday (4/12/22), she told the Sydney Morning Herald: “It’s not about me. It doesn’t speak to me. I really have nothing to do with (it)
“What will it look like. My face isn’t too bad, so I don’t have to have surgery.
“Even if I wanted to, I probably never would, because I’m too scared to agree. I’m kind of obsessed with my aging face.”
On how her genes help her stay healthy and fit: “I’m determined to keep my body as strong as I can. I’m a lot like my dad’s body, muscular.”
Charlotte, who is about to star in a “Dune” sequel, has previously attributed her long career to refusing face-changing advice: “Don’t change your face, you can get very interesting characters – not just grandma; you can also Get sexy parts.”
Earlier this year, she recounted how she once flirted with a much younger Russell Crowe before he became famous.
At the time, she was married to French musician Jean-Michel Jarre, 74, while Crowe was in an affair with actress Danielle Spencer. In an on and off relationship, he later married the latter.
She told the Daily Mail that Russell was “a very attractive young man”, adding: “I’ve flirted. You can leave it there.
