Hawaii has a pleasant climate year-round, but summer is the best time for live music in the open air. Here are just a few ways to help you get out of the house.

• Hawaii Symphony Starlight FestivalTom Moffatt Waikiki Shell, 7:30-9:30 p.m. July 22: Conductor Sarah Hicks leads the HSO with Hawaiian Ballet Theater in an evening of classical music and dance in Rachmaninoff’s “Symphonic Dances.” tickets.

• 6th Annual Makaap Twilight ConcertSea Life Park, 5pm-10pm August 5: Hear the voices of Anuhea, Kalani Pe’a and Ledward Ka’apana, with entertainment from Huakai Polynesian Productions and host Dillon Ancheta. The preview starts at 4pm Food and drinks are available for purchase. tickets.
