At a recent concert at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, Chris Stapleton had to take action against an audience member who heckled him.
A video shared by an attendee on Twitter showed someone in the crowd starting to boo Stapleton and his wife Morgana, who were performing with him on stage.
“These guys pay a lot of money to have a good time,” the Grammy winner said directly to his hecklers. “You too, if this is a good time for you, get out.”
A video from the concert captured the moment an unidentified man, possibly the provocateur, was escorted out of the amphitheater by security.
Chris Stapleton is currently on his national roadshow tour, which started in July and will run until the end of October.
The tour includes several cities including Spokane, Denver, Baltimore, Nashville, Toronto, Memphis, Houston, Austin and more before wrapping up in Dallas on October 28th.
