WHEELING — The City of Wheeling kicks off another season of free summer fun at venues across town.
Waterfront Wednesdays have begun at Heritage Port and will feature free live music every Wednesday at 7pm. Upcoming performances at Waterfront Wednesday on May 31st will include Tom Breiding and Union Railroad.
Toe Tappin’ Tuesdays at Warwood Gardens Park will start on May 30 and will feature ’90s country band TumbleWeed. Toe Tappin’ Tuesdays, Too kicks off June 6th at Wheeling Park with party rock band Easy Street.
First Fridays returns to the Center Market this July 7th, playing country, pop/rock and blues tunes from Taylor Jo and the Copper Creek Band. Wheeling’s Arts and Culture Council will once again host Third Fridays at the Market Square, with the first concert on July 16th with the Matt Hill Band.
All free concerts start at 7pm
Throughout the summer, a variety of films will be shown on big screens in various locations across the city, with DC’s Super Pets at JB Chambers Turf Field on June 9.
