Paul Farbrace returns as Abu Dhabi head coach on a mission to win this year’s Abu Dhabi T10 From 22 November to 4 December at the Zayed Cricket Ground.
Farbrace spent five years with the England men’s team before joining Warwickshire as their sporting director and led Abu Dhabi to third last year.

He will now return to the home team’s lounge for the sixth season of Abu Dhabi’s T10, as will former England women’s international Sarah Taylor.
Taylor, who brought changes to the women’s coaches in the men’s professional game when she joined the Abu Dhabi coaching staff last year, will serve as Fabrese’s assistant.
“I thought it was a great game,” Cesc Fabrese said of his T10 debut in Abu Dhabi last season.
“I was looking forward to it and it turned out to be a fantastic game. You got some of the best players in the world, some of the best coaches and it was a good combination.
“Sarah did a fantastic job last year and I think her enthusiasm and her energy in the team was fantastic. I look forward to seeing her expand on what she did last year and I think she will bring more this year Innovate and have a bigger impact on the team.”
Otis Gibson, who has previously worked in the West Indies, England, Bangladesh and South Africa, will lead the bowling department, while former Zimbabwe international Grant Flower has signed on as batting coach.
Farbrace’s side won seven of their 10 games at the league stage of the 2021 Abu Dhabi T10, but lost both the second qualifier and knockout rounds, costing them a place in the final.
Abu Dhabi ended up finishing third and to go all the way this time, they have bolstered their squad by signing the tough duo of Australia’s Chris Lynn and West Indian Fabian Allen .
England internationals Phil Salter and Jamie Overton were retained, as was Afghanistan ace Naveen Ulhaq.
Abu Dhabi’s think tank will complete the squad in the September 26 player draft, and Fabrese has set his sights on leading the tournament’s hosts to their first title.
“I’m eager to win it,” Fabrese said. “I want to win, I like to win, I hate to lose. I think we have a group of people who share that view.
“Chris Lynn is a superstar in terms of shorter form. I’m really excited for him, he’s a bowler-buster.
“He’s going to be our true leader. He’s a guy who knows his game, has a lot of experience and knows how he wants to play. All I’m going to say to him is ‘Man, go entertain us. Tell us how you are Play this game!
“I’m also delighted that we’ve been able to keep Phil Salter, Jamie Overton and Naveen Harker because they’re all quality, good cricketers.
