COLUMBIA – The Columbia Craft Beer Festival Committee announces the 2023 Columbia Craft Beer Festival entertainment lineup: Clipper Sipper 2.0 will be on Saturday, September 23rd from 4pm to 8pm at Firestone Farms, 101 Downtown Columbia Drive held in the city center.
This year’s live music features:
Leanne Binder is a locally experienced singer/songwriter/entertainer with four musical credits.
Whatevr, a regional band that plays a wide range of high energy music, from classic rock and country to modern top 40 pop.
Gypsy Cowboys, American musical roots influenced by old-time string bands, country, blues, bluegrass, and rock,
New this year, the Fat Axxes mobile ax throwing lounge will be closed from the event until 8 p.m.; 5 throws for $5, 10 throws for $8 (closed shoes required).
Columbiana Craft BeerFest, now in its third year, will showcase samples from more than 10 area breweries, live music, local food trucks and area vendors Proceeds from 2023 Clipper Sipper 2.0 event will benefit Firestone Stadium Complex repair.
The restoration of the Firestone Stadium Complex was a community-wide effort involving the Columbiana Athletic Boosters, the Columbiana Exempted Village School District, the City, and ordinary citizens. The project will be completed in phases with Columbiana Craft Beerfest: Clipper Sipper 2.0 to raise funds for the first phase of the project, removal and replacement of the grandstand:
$1.4 million campaign goal
Removal of Existing Cement Platform
Replace the stands with new aluminum stands (same look and feel as current stands)
Enhance the aesthetics of your booth and surroundings
Ensure ADA compliance, including wheelchair accessibility
Stadium named after entrepreneur and Columbia native Harvey S. Firestone
field named after columbia native and soccer legend dick “Sonny” fisher known as a “Clippers” Great on-court performance by Cleveland radio announcer Tom Manning
Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 on-site and include 10 tasting tickets, a 13-ounce master tasting glass, live music, food trucks and vendors. Must be 21 years of age or older to enter.
