Como Hotels and Resorts, an award-winning family business with 15 hotels and resorts worldwide, recently held its first General Manager Roadshow in the Middle East.
“We covered trade events in Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait and Riyadh – plus we hosted a media luncheon in Dubai,” said Felipe Gomez, Middle East Global Sales Director. “In Riyadh, we also hosted an event with one of our trading partners – this was for Saudi social media influencers and media personalities.”
Como The Halkin in London reopened last September following an elegant refurbishment of 41 spacious rooms and suites.
“The Middle East market is extremely important to us and it represents one of our top feeder markets in some destinations like London or Thailand. Qatar and Saudi Arabia are also leading in our Middle East business,” Gomez added.
“We also saw great potential in our other destinations such as Bali, Italy and the Maldives, so we opened a global sales office in the Middle East as early as 2020. Komo Raukala in Fiji, Komo Uma in Bhutan Como Parrot Cay and the Caicos Islands in Turks and Turks will also benefit, and we must continue to raise awareness of the destination.” – trade arab news agency
