The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 57 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus on Sunday, with 115 recoveries and no deaths.

The total number of active cases is 14,944.

The new cases were detected through 17,796 additional tests.

As of January 1, the total number of cases in the UAE stood at 1,047,065, while the overall recovery rate was 1,029,773. The death toll remained at 2,348.

To date, more than 197,968,222 PCR tests have been performed in the country.
