Creative Zones in the NextGenFDI Program: MoE

The Ministry of Economy (MoE) has announced that Creative Zone, one of the largest consultancy and business establishments in the UAE, has joined the NextGenFDI programme.

The Creative Zone will advance the objectives of the NextGenFDI program by providing prospective investors and high potential entrepreneurs with a range of market-leading business start-up solutions, ensuring flexibility in their relocation to the UAE.

Launched in July 2022, the NextGenFDI program aims to attract digitally advanced companies to the UAE market and develop the next generation of technology-enabled companies.

Express Business License

NextGenFDI includes fast-track business licensing, group visa issuance, fast-track access to banking facilities, and access to education and cloud services and commercial real estate.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by both parties, Creative Zone will support the goals of the NextGenFDI initiative by providing investors and entrepreneurs with innovative solutions that will help them grow in the UAE.

Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, said: “The UAE places a high value on entrepreneurship and recognizes it as a key engine of innovation and creativity as it has the potential to sustainably support the country’s economic growth. Furthermore, it has partnered with The direction of wise leadership and the goals of the ‘Fifty Years’ are in line with those of the UAE’s Centennial Plan 2071.”

Emerging enterprises

“This agreement further confirms the UAE’s intention to assist and promote start-ups and their growth. Through this initiative, the Creative District will support these goals by attracting new start-ups to the UAE and providing a range of business support services, while enhancing their development, capacity to develop and support the country’s digital business environment,” he added.

Lorenzo Jooris, CEO of Creative Zone, said: “The NextGenFDI initiative aims to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global hub for the best emerging digital businesses and leading unicorns.”

Creative Zone, one of the country’s trusted start-up consultancies, which has assisted over 45,000 growing entrepreneurs and businesses to expand their businesses over the past decade, will now support the NextGenFDI program’s aim to boost the growth of UAE businesses.

The MoU will help expand the scope of the initiative, thereby strengthening and accelerating the UAE’s efforts to create an advanced global business environment for the technology industry.
