top golf Looking to build a new golf course in Grand Prairie near the city’s EpicCentral entertainment district.
The Dallas-based company said Thursday that it is working with the city to finalize the plan. It did not provide a construction timetable.
EpicCentral is located off State Highway 161 and includes a growing number of food, sports and entertainment facilities – from Chicken N Kimchi To a City-run indoor water park.
Topgolf said the location will create 300 jobs. The multi-level venue will feature the company’s outdoor batting ring, large-screen televisions and year-round programming.
It will also feature Toptracer, a technology seen on TV that tracks the flight path of golf balls. Toptracer also provides interactive experiences for customers to play games like Angry Birds and Jewel Jam.
The company operates 80 venues worldwide, including 12 in Texas and 4 in Dallas-Fort Worth – Allen, Dallas, Colonial and Fort Worth.
