DBWC Launches Fourth Cycle Mentoring Program – Dubai Blog

The Dubai Business Women’s Council (DBWC) has launched the fourth cycle of its mentoring program.

Approximately 100 members participated in the first three rounds of the acclaimed program, designed to provide participants with valuable expertise, support and guidance.

Interested parties can apply online through the DBWC website; the deadline for application is October 28, 2021.

The selection and matching process will then be carried out by the steering committee to ensure that the trainees are paired with suitable instructors during the six-month planned term.

The press conference was recently held at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, with board members, partners and invited guests present.

His Excellency Dr. Raja Al Gurg, Chairman of DBWC, delivered an opening speech at the event. She emphasized the importance of the program in improving the skills of women entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs, and the role of continuous development of skills in coping with changing industry changes. Business landscape.

Al Gurg said: “The Mentoring Program has made a huge contribution to the training and improvement of the personal and professional skills of 100 female entrepreneurs. Our goal is, still to be a future-oriented enterprise, to support business women through skills development. One of the most important investments ever.

She added: “The fourth edition of the plan coincides with the fifty-year and fifty-year projects initiated by our wise leadership, which reflects a forward-looking vision for the future. It also coincides with the large-scale international event Expo 2020 Dubai. The event emphasized the importance of the plan to support women entrepreneurs in the next phase.

The mentor program has a unique group of experienced male and female mentors who provide the best practice and professional training to improve participants’ experience and competitiveness in a business environment.

This reflects DBWC’s hard work to strengthen the skills and abilities of its members, especially in light of the challenges posed by the current pandemic and the fierce competition that the labor market is witnessing.

DBWC Business Development Manager Nadine Halabi said: “In order to make the program comprehensive, comprehensive and unique, it was developed according to the best international training practices while taking into account the basic and required skills after Covid-19.”

A customized training plan will be developed according to the professional needs and requirements of each student. This includes personalized one-on-one coaching to help improve participants’ skills.

Halabi reiterated DBWC’s commitment to provide its members with all the tools and platforms to succeed in a business environment, while helping them understand and respond to future challenges.

She added that the program represents a successful model of fruitful partnerships between organizations in the business world to stimulate innovation and encourage professional success.

Halabi invites board members to join the program to take advantage of its comprehensiveness and rich content within six months.

The list of companies participating in the program and providing mentoring services to participants includes Visa and French Business Council from Dubai and northern UAE, Siemens, JPMorgan Chase, Damac Properties, Amazon Web Services, Edelman Middle East, Nestlé representatives, Dubai 2020 Expo and so on.

The steering committee members include Nadine Halabi, DBWC Business Development Manager, Hanane Arif, Vice President, Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Director and Business Development Officer, Middle East Corporate and Investment Bank of Societe Generale, Nazha Osseiran, Managing Partner of Chipmunk General Trading, and Nisrine El Harf Noon Design Studio. During the event, the videos of former trainees and tutors from the previous cycle were screened. During this period, they shared their thoughts about participating in the program.
