Deepika Padukone as ‘Shakti Shetty,’ the relentless cop

The makers of the upcoming Bollywood action film ‘Singham Again‘ revealed Deepika Padukone’s first look as the lady cop Shakti Shetty. Director Rohit Shetty shared the pictures on Instagram, describing her as “The Most Brutal and Violent Officer” in their cop universe.

Deepika is seen in a police uniform, holding a gun and posing in two striking images. The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, also features Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, and is set to release on Independence Day 2024, clashing with Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2.’

The movie is a sequel to ‘Singham’ and features special appearances by Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar, reprising their roles from ‘Simmba’ and ‘Sooryavanshi.’ Additionally, Deepika will star in the sci-fi action film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ with Prabhas and the aerial action thriller ‘Fighter’ directed by Siddharth Anand, alongside Hrithik Roshan.
