The Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team is preparing for the third round of the UIM F1H2O World Championships, defending their title.
After the first two rounds of the UIM F1H2O World Championship in Indonesia (February) and China (May), Europe will take place in the picturesque town of Macon-sur-Saône in France from June 30 to July 2. Hosts the first of two rounds in the series.
The Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team is joining the Sharjah Powerboat Team and Victory Team to represent the UAE in the Championships.
Abu Dhabi star Sani Kamzi enters Italy’s San Nazzaro camp as he prepares for the Macon leg of the Formula 1 Powerboat World Championships.
“We’ve been preparing a track in Italy that is similar to Macon, with the same dimensions and corners, so I feel good about it,” he said. “While I’m trying to score my first individual driver title, I’m also working hard with Sean to defend our world team title.”
al qamzi and teammate, defending world champion shaun torrente, will arrive in macon on thursday to join the administration.
Currently, Torrent ranks fourth with 16 points and Algemz ranks ninth with 7 points.
