These days, Demi Moore is “very proud” of her life.
The 60-year-old actress, who was previously married to the late musician Freddie Moore and then Hollywood star Bruce Willis, has 34-year-old Rumer, 31-year-old Scooter and 29-year-old Tallulah, who later tied the knot with Ashton Kutcher but has mostly been single since their 2013 split, said a source said she was “very grateful” for the support network she had around her.
A source told Us Weekly magazine this week: “Demi is incredibly proud of the life she has created for herself. She is so grateful to have such a warm and loving group of friends and family around her and supporting her.”
On the eve of her milestone birthday late last year, the “Ghost” star insisted she would not be defined by a number, but rather by her life experiences, reflected in being called an “idol” to achieve a career in acting 40 years in business.
“It’s not defined by numbers, it’s defined by my experiences. You hit 59 and you’re already thinking, ‘Well, I’m going to be 60.'” It felt liberating. When I think about my 60-year-old grandmother, she seems to have accepted growing old to some extent. But I feel, in so many ways, more alive and present than ever!
“It seems a bit disorienting to hear how it relates to yourself.
“I feel flattered, kind of like, it doesn’t feel like me, but I love it. To me, an icon always means someone paved the way and marked someone who has moved people or made an impact Positive. In that regard, I’m very proud to be included in a category that’s relevant.”
