Derek Haas to Exit Wolf Entertainment’s ‘One Chicago’ Franchise

Haas first met Wolf Entertainment in 2011 and launched “Chicago Fire” (and the One Chicago franchise) in 2012 with co-creator Michael Brandt. He serves as executive producer and co-showrunner for the program, now in its 11th season, with Andrea Newman. He is the executive producer of the spinoffs “Chicago PD” and “Chicago Med,” which aired seasons 10 and 8, respectively.

In 2021, he co-created FBI: International with Wolff and served as the showrunner for two seasons. The series was shot in Budapest, Hungary.

In addition to TV, Haas co-wrote the scripts for “2 Fast 2 Furious,” “Catch That Kid,” “3:10 to Yuma,” “Wanted,” and “Overdrive.” He also wrote six novels, including the Silver Bear series.
