Dr. Masala King Dhananjay Datar, CMD, Al Adil Group recently honored veteran Marathi actor Ashok Saraf for his invaluable contribution to the Marathi theater and film industry. Vandana Datar also accompanied Dr. Datar to the celebration. The event titled ‘Bahurupi Ashok Saraf’ was organized by Marathi Parties and Functions Services (MPFS) at the Emirates International School in Jumeirah, Dubai for its members.
Saraf recently celebrated his 76th birthday and the golden jubilee of his acting career, attracting millions of viewers. Not only has he dominated the minds of Marathi and Hindi film lovers for decades, but he has left an indelible mark with his versatile roles. Well-known anchor Vignesh Joshi interviewed Saraf on this occasion. MPFS artists staged theatrical and dance performances for some memorable scenes from Saraf’s hit film. It was a spectacular and memorable event for Dubai’s Maharastrian community.
