Dolby’s first-ever SXSW experiential takeover offers a series of free panels, events and food throughout the week

AUSTIN, Texas, March 10, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — With its first experiential acquisition at SXSW, Dolby Laboratories is bringing the future of immersive entertainment experiences to the heart of Austin — Dolby House. Free and open to the public and SXSW attendees, Dolby House features eight installations highlighting Dolby’s innovations in music, movies and streaming, gaming, sports and podcasts. Dolby House will also host more than 20 free panels, events and industry + creator meetups throughout the week.

From Friday, March 10th to Sunday, March 19th, the House of Dolby is open daily from 9:00am to 9:00pm. At the House of Dolby, guests will enjoy installations celebrating the world’s leading entertainers and creatives pushing the boundaries of entertainment using Dolby technologies such as Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos immersive audio. Guests will also have the opportunity to experience one of Dolby’s latest innovations, Dolby Atmos for cars, in top-of-the-range Mercedes-Benz vehicles Maybach S-Classand get a “first listen” of the Sonos Era 300, the brand’s latest Dolby Atmos-enabled smart speaker, which is Announce earlier this week.
Dolby.io, Dolby’s developer platform, will showcase its latest suite of live streaming, communications and media APIs.
