Dr. Moopen’s family invests $56.37 million in increased stake in Aster

Aster DM Healthcare’s promoters have increased their stake in the India-listed company by 207 million dirhams ($56.37 million) by 4 percent, from 37.88 percent, after acquiring an additional stake from a large private equity investor. increased to 41.88%.

With a turnover of Rs 1,025.3 crore or AED 5 billion for the financial year 2021-22, Aster DM Healthcare has performed very well in terms of turnover and profit for the current financial year. It is in an exciting growth phase as it restructures its India and GCC businesses. In India, the company is advancing new projects such as the 350-bed Aster Capital Hospital in Trivandrum, Kerala, the 200-bed Aster MIMS Hospital in Kasargod, Kerala, the 150-bed Aster Narayanadri Hospital in Rabang Tirupati, 100-bed Aster Narayanadri Hospital Aster G Madegowda Hospital in Mandya – Karnataka, etc.

The company has also launched 239 Aster Pharmacies and 177 Aster Laboratories and Patient Experience Centers. The 4,095 beds in 15 hospitals in India will grow to 4,670 in 18 hospitals in the next financial year, and Aster will connect all of these devices through the myAster App, which will be launched this year, to provide customers with omni-channel care, he said.

The 181-bed Aster Royal Hospital in Oman, the 101-bed Aster Hospital in Sharjah and the acquisition of a 126-bed hospital in Al Qusais (soon to be operational) will make Aster the largest healthcare provider in the GCC Among them are 15 hospitals, 113 clinics and 257 pharmacies.

The company has embarked on a plan to open 250 new Aster dispensaries in Saudi Arabia. Omni channel healthcare delivery is bundled with the myAster app, which has received more than 352,000 downloads in a short period of time since its launch.
