The 27-year-old pop star was welcomed by the Queen – formerly Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall until her husband King Charles took the throne following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth in September – she published Speaking at the Booker Awards in London, the two are said to have had a lengthy conversation.

Meanwhile, the “levitation” hit producer, speaking at the annual awards ceremony — this year’s award goes to Shehan Karunatilaka’s novel “The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida” — explained that reading is what it means to her. A “passion,” she was “directed” by writers such as Roald Dahl and Malorie Blackman.
She said: “It’s an honour to be one of the world’s greatest writers, talking about one of the world’s deepest joys: the simple pleasure of reading a book. Reading for me is a way of presenting in many forms. Passion. Like countless other London school children, my early obsessions included Roald Dahl and Mallory Blackman, both of whom gave me little pearls of wisdom that still guide me today.”
