DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF), a joint venture between Stuttgart-based DC Aviation GmbH and Dubai-based privately-owned Emirati business group Al-Futtaim, said on Tuesday demand for private jets to Doha as football fever sets in The surge comes ahead of this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

DCAF will offer aircraft ranging from the very light and affordable four-seater Cessna Citation Mustang to the light-jet eight-seater Pilatus PC-12 and the medium-jet nine-seater Bombardier Challenger 604. In addition, DCAF will be able to offer the 10-seat Falcon 2000 as well as large cabin aircraft.

The FIFA World Cup is scheduled to run from November 21 to December 18. Travel between Qatar and the UAE, especially Dubai, is expected to increase significantly during the event.
Currently, Emirates’ flydubai, Etihad Airways and Air Arabia, as well as Qatar’s national carrier Qatar Airways, operate flights between the two Gulf countries.
