Festivalgoers cannot live on BRED alone…
The inaugural BRED Abu Dhabi Festival kicks off later this week and promises to become an annual fixture in the capital.
It’s all taking place at the purpose-built BRED Arena on the Yas Bay waterfront from Wednesday 26 April to Sunday 30 April 2023.personal day tickets Prices start from Dhs50; concert tickets from Dhs195; opening party tickets at Dhs150; closing party at Dhs175; and Festival Pass – which gets you access to all daytime events, concerts and opening/closing parties – for just Dhs495 .
As the region’s first “New Culture Festival”, BRED will showcase exclusive streetwear, bespoke art, street food, music performances, a live street art fair, film screenings, futsal demos, workshops, master classes and basketball Contest.

The music artist lineup really looks like the best thing since BRED sliced - including the first headlining name drop 2 Chainz, Dave East and Armani White have starred. Then, last week, second wave artists follow 6LACK (pronounced black), Giggs and Big SeanAlso on the bill are Balti, Ahmed Santa, El Rass, Tagne, Freek and The Synaptik.

New cultures showcase their art through food too – BRED will provide a platform and spotlight for some of the region’s native culinary legends.
Acknowledging that feeding people food and street music is— sweet chick; Newsboy; hype beans; Libra Bakery; furnace; slow care; less guilty; matta farm; ugly noodles; jam; in carnitas; Flavor Burger; Cairo Box; Mamarama;Formo Burger; Go Mad; Karak Inc Restaurant; Corn Tacos; Negative Eighteen; Fifth Flavor; Milky Ice Cream; Churros Cone Café; to the moon and back; and Safadi.
And, as the title teases, from iconic Pakistani restaurant Satwa in Dubai — Ravi. Highlights on the menu include their chicken Peshwari, spiced lamb, kebabs, biriyanis and large servings of brains.

This isn’t the restaurant’s first new cultural rodeo (there’s a phrase we never thought to say), they’re certainly one half of a collaborative artist, and they put on some of the freshest coaches of 2022.
