Dubai Population 2025 Crosses 4.5 Million Residents

Dubai keeps growing at a remarkable pace. New figures show the Dubai population 2025 reached 4.58 million people by the end of the year, marking one of the fastest growth rates the emirate has recorded in recent times, at 7.5 per cent year-on-year.

The numbers reflect Dubai’s continued pull as a destination for both new residents and returning expatriates, driven by a strong job market, an expanding property sector and a steady stream of new business licences being issued across the emirate.

Officials tracking demographic trends say the growth spans multiple nationalities and age groups, pointing to sustained confidence in Dubai‘s economy even as the wider region has dealt with geopolitical uncertainty over the past year.

The population boom has also put pressure on housing, schools and transport infrastructure, prompting authorities to accelerate several development projects, including new residential handovers and expanded public transport routes, to keep pace with demand.

Dubai’s government has previously set ambitious long-term population targets as part of its wider urban planning strategy, and the latest figures suggest the emirate remains firmly on track to meet, or even exceed, those goals well ahead of schedule.
