Dubai property investments in completed real estate projects reached Dh111 billion ($30.2 billion) during the first half of 2026, marking a 52% increase compared with the same period last year.
The figures, based on Dubai Land Department data, highlight continued activity in the emirate’s property sector as more developments reach completion and new residential supply enters the market.
A total of 104 real estate projects were completed across Dubai between January and June 2026, compared with 75 projects during the first half of 2025. This represents an increase of more than 38% in the number of completed projects.
The residential market also recorded significant growth. Developers delivered 24,537 residential units during the first six months of the year, compared with 18,043 units in the corresponding period of 2025.
The built-up area of completed and ready-to-handover projects increased by more than 23%, reaching approximately 1.95 million square metres.
Land values associated with completed developments saw an even stronger rise. The value of land allocated to these projects increased by more than 135% to Dh19.46 billion, compared with Dh8.27 billion during H1 2025.
The land area allocated to completed projects also more than doubled to approximately one million square metres. The latest figures underline the scale of Dubai’s ongoing real estate expansion, with investment, project completions and residential deliveries all recording year-on-year growth.
With the figures covering only the first six months of 2026, the Dubai property market will remain an important area to watch during the second half of the year as additional developments move toward completion.
