The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has announced the launch of the annual Dubai Tourism Summit, the first tourism forum of its kind in the region. The announcement follows figures showing Dubai welcomed 11.4 million international overnight visitors between January and October.

The hotel industry is performing better than pre-pandemic levels on all other key metrics: room nights stayed, average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
