Former UNLV basketball player and social media personality Dylan Gonzalez appears to be using her platform to encourage other women to speak out against sexual assault.This ballet dancer made a shocking allegation on New Year’s Eve against Trey Sonds in a tweet that went viral. Dylan tweeted: “Trey Sonds is a rapist. Lord forgive me. I can’t hold on for another year. See you in 2022.”
Today, Dylan shared a statement revealing more of what she has been dealing with since she shared the allegations with the public. She wrote on Instagram: “The news about Trey Songz’s alleged sexual assault seems to be endless. I was forced to relive it in my head and again suffered from long repressed fears and intolerable PTSD that I was in a family The famous Las Vegas hotel was raped by him.”
The statement continued: “At this time, I humbly request my privacy, consideration and sympathy, while I am fully committed to [pursuing] Best course of action and all my legal options. Gracias Mi Gente, Dyl. Additionally, she urges individuals with any questions and inquiries to direct them to her attorney, George Vrabeck, via Instagram or Twitter.
As Dylan disclosed the incident in Las Vegas, it was unclear whether it was related to TMZ’s November report that Trey was being investigated for sexual assault. At the time, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was investigating the incident at The Cosmopolitan hotel. Trey has yet to resolve any charges, but we will keep you informed if he does.
