Smart power management company Eaton has opened a new facility in Dubai, the Customer Experience Center (CEC), designed to provide customers with a wide range of live and virtual training resources on a variety of topics, including best practices in design, technology and power applications .
The new Eaton CEC, located in the Jebel Ali National Industrial Park, is the first facility of its kind outside Europe and the United States.
Announcing the launch, Eaton said the new facility will serve as the group’s center of excellence to showcase, train and demonstrate its products and integrated solutions for industry professionals, end users and consultants.
It says it is a state-of-the-art, function-ready experience center that will provide theoretical and hands-on training in different types of technologies, supporting clients in achieving their sustainability, energy transition and digital transformation goals.
It will represent an enabler for customers to accelerate the adoption of digital power management solutions in their businesses.
Eaton CEC was inaugurated by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), attended by senior officials including Dr Mohammed Al Zarooni, Chairman of Dubai Integrated Economic Zone Authority (DIEZ), and Abdulla Bin DP World UAE Chief Executive and Managing Director Damithan.
Also in attendance were Eaton’s senior leadership in Europe and the Middle East, as well as Frank Joseph, Commercial Counselor at the US Consulate General in Dubai.
Speaking at the opening, Al Tayer said: “Eaton continues to play an important role in the UAE, helping customers manage power through smart solutions, in addition to investing in sustainable development.”
“This new state-of-the-art facility is a qualitative addition to the field and will enable Eaton to offer customers a wide range of on-site and virtual training resources on a variety of topics, including design, technology and best practices for power applications,” he said.
“Dewa is committed to promoting sustainable development and digital transformation in the UAE and the region, and recognizes Eaton’s investment as a positive step in that direction,” he added.
Bin Damithan called Eaton one of the success stories of the DP World National Industrial Park and praised their strategic role in promoting the development of the industrial park.

The launch of Eaton’s Customer Experience Center is a testament to the UAE’s ambition to increase its clean energy generation target to 30%. A 1% drop by 2030, “He said.
The senior official highlighted the commitment of DP World and the National Industrial Parks to support the development of innovative businesses such as Eaton to leverage Fourth Industrial Revolution solutions for reliable, efficient and safe energy use.
