The Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA) has won the coveted Aviation Training Provider of the Year award at the Middle East Aviation Business Awards 2022.
The award recognizes the achievements of leading training organizations or aviation training academies delivering flagship programs to develop the industry. EFTA wins for its course structure, range of subjects, training facilities and market feedback.
Aviation Business ME states on its website: “Emirates Flight Training Academy trains future pilots through highly interactive theoretical learning tools, advanced digital content to meet the unique post-pandemic market requirements and aligns with the highest levels of global pilot training. Standard par and immersive virtual reality technology, hands-on instruction for modern training aircraft, advanced flight simulators and airline-focused, route-oriented flight training.”

Located in South Dubai, the Emirates Flight Training Academy was established by Emirates in 2017 to train UAE nationals and international students to become pilots. The academy combines cutting-edge learning technology with a modern fleet of 27 training aircraft to train students with no previous flying knowledge. EFTA’s fleet consists of 22 Cirrus SR22 G6 single-engine piston aircraft and 5 Embraer Phenom 100EV ultralight jets.
EFTA’s state-of-the-art facility is equivalent to 200 football fields, with 36 modern ground classrooms, 6 full-motion flight simulators, a separate air traffic control tower and a dedicated 1,800-meter runway. – trade arab news agency
