Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA), the UAE’s largest industrial company outside of oil and gas, and Microsoft UAE will partner to advance Industry 4.0 and wider digital transformation. The collaboration aims to develop global best practice for the aluminum industry while improving the sustainability of EGA’s computing business.

Both Microsoft and EGA are members of the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology’s Industry 4.0 Champions Network, which aims to accelerate the adoption of Industry 4.0 across UAE industries.

Under the new agreement, the two companies will jointly advance EGA’s digital roadmap, which has already transformed EGA’s operations through digital capabilities such as artificial intelligence and big data.

cloud power
