Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi arrived in Abu Dhabi tonight on a working visit during which he will lead the Egyptian delegation as guest of honor at the World Government Summit in Dubai.
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the Egyptian President upon his arrival on the presidential plane.
During a short break at the Palais de Sati, the two leaders had a cordial conversation on the brotherly bilateral relations, aspects of joint cooperation and actions, and ways of further development.
President Sisi expressed his condolences to Sheikh Mohammed on the death of Sheikh Mariam bint Abdullah bin Sulayem Al Farasi, and prayed to Allah Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, and Give her family patience and comfort.
The meeting was attended by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Ruler of Al Dhafra; His Excellency Sheikh Tahnun bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, Representative of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi in Al Ain; Abu Dhabi Executive His Excellency Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-Chairman of the Council; His Excellency Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs; HH Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser; His Excellency Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency; and a number of sheikhs and senior officials.
Also in attendance were members of the delegation accompanying the Egyptian President.
