Dubai: Transport authorities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman have announced the timing of free parking and the schedule of public transport facilities during the public holiday, as residents of the UAE prepare for the extended Eid al-Fitr holiday. Below is a breakdown of all announcements issued by each emirate.

Public car parks in Dubai will be free from Thursday to 3rd Shawwal, except for multi-storey car parks, where you will still have to pay for parking, as announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Tuesday, April 18 .
The RTA has also announced the operating times of the Dubai Metro, trams and public buses.

Departure time from Dubai bus station will be from 6am to 1amthe next day.
The departure time of the subway feeder bus station will be synchronized with the time of the first bus and the last bus.

• E100 from Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi
• E101 from Ibn Battuta to Abu Dhabi
• E102 from Ibn Battuta to Musaffah

• E303 from Union Station to Al Jubail in Sharjah
• E306 from Al Ghubaiba to Al Jubail in Sharjah

Abu Dhabi Free Parking
Abu Dhabi’s Mawaqif public car parks will be free from Thursday, April 20 until the end of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, according to the Integrated Transport Center (ITC), Abu Dhabi’s official transport authority.
The M-18 truck park in Musaffah will also be free during Eid.
ITC urges motorists to park only in designated spots and obey residential parking rules 9pm and 8am every day.
Darb Tollgate
The Darb tollbooth will be free from Thursday 20 April. There will be another charge during peak hours after the Hari Raya holiday.
Abu Dhabi public bus times
Public buses in Abu Dhabi will operate on a schedule, with increased frequency of regional and intercity buses based on demand during Eid.
Sharjah Bus Schedules
Sharjah’s Roads and Transport Authority announced on Wednesday, April 19 that its internal bus service will start from Al Jubail bus station during the Eid al-Fitr holiday between 3.30am and 12.30am.
Ajman bus schedule
According to the Ajman Transport Authority, the internal routes of public buses will operate from 6 am to 12 am. Except for the following bus routes:
• Al Musalla Bus Station to Main Bus Station: 8.45am to 10.45am
• Mushairef (AJ7) – 7am ​​to 10pm
• Sheikh Ammar Street (AJ6) – 6am to 11.30pm

The Ajman Transport Authority has also announced the timing of its public buses between the emirates and the schedule is as follows:
• Ajman to Dubai International Airport Terminal 1: 3.15am to 10.45am
• Ajman to Sharjah – 6 am to 12 am
• Ajman to Umm Al Quwain – 7am ​​to 10pm.
• Ajman to Abu Dhabi – 7am ​​to 5.30pm
