Residents of the UAE will celebrate the first day of Eid al-Adha 2023 on Wednesday 28 July (Zul Hijjah 10). Authorities across the country have made thorough preparations to ensure that the public has a seamless experience during the four-day holiday. There is excitement in the air as residents prepare to make the most of the joyful occasion.

Muslims across the UAE will observe special prayers on the first day of Eid al-Fitr. Shortly after sunrise, hundreds of mosques and Eid Muslims will hold special prayers.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi and the Sheikh Khalifa Grand Mosque in Ain will host Eid al-Adha prayers at 6:30 am tomorrow, Wednesday 28 June (Dur-Hija 10).

For those planning to participate in group prayers during Eid al-Adha in the UAE in 2023, here are the latest prayer times:

  • Dubai: 5.50am
  • Sharjah: 5.47am
  • Abu Dhabi: 5.53 am
  • Ajman: 5.47am
  • Umm Al Quwain: 5.46am
  • Fujairah: 5.44am
  • Ras Al Khaimah: 5.44 am
