[ad_1]

Emaar Hospitality Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emaar Properties, announced at Dubai’s ongoing Arabian tourism market that it will add eight new hotels in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt between 2023 and 2024.

New properties will be added to its portfolio including Address Jabal Omar Makkah, Vida Dubai Mall, Vida Creek Beach, Palace Dubai Creek Harbour, Address Marassi Beach Resort in Egypt, Vida Marina Resort & Yacht Club Marassi in Egypt, Vida Aljada and Vida Residences Cairo Door.

A spokesperson for Emaar said: “We are delighted to be participating in the Arabian Tourism Market again and look forward to charting the future of hospitality with industry leaders and experts. We are also pleased to announce the expansion of Emaar Hospitality Group to Marassi in Egypt and Makkah in Saudi Arabia, among others The main destination, which also extends to Dubai Creek Harbor in the UAE, demonstrates how revolutionary the hospitality landscape in these booming countries can be.

“We are witnessing a successful increase in occupancy from an initial 60% occupancy in 2021 to 65% in 2022 and to 74% in 2023. With increasing demand for hospitality in the region, our Expansion plans are aligned with local and international visitors.”

MENA Expansion
Address Jabal Omar Makkah is Emaar Hospitality Group’s first hotel in Saudi Arabia. This is an important addition to Emaar’s landmark collection of hotels, as Saudi Arabia is widely regarded as an emerging hotel hub and now is an opportune time to enter this exciting region. Address Hotel + Resorts is known for delivering world-class luxury and style across all of its properties, and this addition will be an iconic landmark in Mecca.

In addition to this, Emaar Hospitality Group is adding to its existing portfolio of hotels and resorts, with Address Marassi Beach Resort and Vida Marina Resort & Yacht Club Marassi in Egypt scheduled to open in 2023. Finally, two new members of the Vida brand will be added in 2024, including Vida Aljada in Sharjah and Vida Residences Cairo Gate in Egypt.

Next up is Vida Dubai Mall, another iconic addition to the Vida Hotels and Resorts brand, known for its collection of lifestyle hotels in the UAE. This time around the Dubai Mall, the new hotel will be at the center of all the action in Downtown Dubai. Expected to be completed by mid-2023, the project features stylish interiors including guest rooms and suites, social dining options and residences.

Reinventing Hospitality at Dubai Creek Harbor
Further building and consolidating its presence in Dubai’s new hotspot for hotel, F&B concepts and residential development – Dubai Creek Harbor – Emaar Hospitality Group is launching Palace Dubai Creek Harbor and Vida Creek Beach at the bustling location this year.

These additions will bring the total number of Emaar Hospitality Group hotels in the cluster to four, including the already operating Vida Creek Harbor and Address Grand Creek. Dubai Creek Harbor is fast becoming a sought-after development with an element of attraction for tourists and locals alike, as it offers an incredible vantage point and glistening views of the Dubai skyline and the water.

The newest F&B concept under Emaar Hospitality Group
Emaar Hospitality Group has also been developing compelling restaurant and dining concepts to match its magnificent hotels. The iconic fine dining restaurant At.Mosphere at Burj Khalifa on the 122nd floor of the world’s tallest building had its grand reopening earlier this year and once again welcomes guests for the ultimate dining experience in the clouds.

Another significant reopening was that of Dubai’s favorite Thai restaurant Thiptara in Palace Downtown. Other notable restaurants include the refreshing Luma Pool Lounge at Address Grand Creek Harbour, and SAliA, a modern seafood bar and grill nestled in the foothills of the Fujairah coast. The new restaurant opening starts with the highly anticipated Amwa, which will inject art into the culinary experience. Emaar Hospitality Group is constantly reinventing the concept of food and beverage to further enhance the guest experience in the hospitality industry.

New Sustainability Initiatives
Sustainability will take center stage in 2023, as the brand takes steps to integrate sustainable practices into everything it does, ensuring its hotels are mindful of their impact on the environment. Sustainability efforts target six points of action: guest supplies and catering, operations, waste reduction and recycling, single-use plastics, technology and strategic partnerships.

In terms of operations, measures to ensure resource conservation through room water saving cards, equipment preventive maintenance, ambient temperature control, and energy and water conservation measures will be implemented. Efforts are being made to reduce landfill waste through segregation of recyclable materials in rooms, employee training and recycling awareness, and reintroduction of composting practices.

There will also be an attempt to reduce single-use plastics and introduce more sustainable materials in all areas of operation by focusing on items that are biodegradable, compostable, marine and/or made from recycled materials. To effectively achieve these stated goals, Emaar Hospitality Group intends to seek adequate technical support and collaborate with local Emirati businesses and environmental solution providers as part of their focus on community support and sustainable initiatives.

An Emaar spokesperson said: “2023 is the UAE’s Year of Sustainability and through Emaar Hospitality Group we want to support the UAE Government’s efforts to make our hotels as environmentally friendly as possible. As industry leaders, we have a responsibility to be more aware of our commitment to the environment With this in mind, we have implemented a range of measures across our hotels and resorts in an effort to increase sustainability. Every new store is built with sustainability in mind, and it is a key element as we move forward.”

Additionally, the brand is aligned with government initiatives to work together towards a sustainable future. With environmental awareness becoming an absolute need of the moment and an upward trend in the hospitality industry, Emaar Hospitality Group is training its staff and aligning all operations to match the anticipated future. – trade arab news agency
