Emerson has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Institute of Technology (ADPoly) to build local talent pools and promote science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) fields as viable career paths for UAE nationals.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Vidya Ramnath, president of Emerson’s Middle East and Africa Automation Solutions business, and ADPoly director Dr. Ali Hilal Al Naqbi in the presence of Shameema Parveen, co-founder of Edutech Middle East.
“One of the pillars of Emerson’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program is to build strong partnerships with educational institutions such as ADPoly and Edutech to encourage youth and women to pursue STEM career paths. Through this partnership, we hope to empower the future of STEM Leaders provide the motivation they need to passionately pursue their chosen career path to reach their highest potential. The MoU highlights Emerson’s role in providing ADPoly students with opportunities such as internship and talent programs, academic and research support based on Emerson’s technical and industry expertise and career guidance.
