Eminem is said to be heading the Glastonbury festival in “Senior Talks”.
According to reports, the 49-year-old rapper — Marshall Bruce Mathers III — will sign for the event for the first time.
A source told The Sun on Friday (10/14/22): “Erm is wanted for a big Glastonbury position and has been in talks with yonks.
“His dates are all set, and if they can get him in, it will be his first performance at a festival.
“Eminem is one of the greatest rappers on the planet and it would be incredible to have him on the farm.
“Emmm also has a huge nostalgia factor. He’s been around for over 25 years and everyone knows his music.
“It’s going to be a very special moment, not just for him, but for everyone at the festival.
“Organisers thought he would sign on the dotted line and they could get things going.”
This follows The Sun’s report in September that the Arctic Monkeys have apparently also signed on to headline Glastonbury in 2023.
A source said at the time: “Alex Turner and the band will be back at Glastonbury and this time their show will be bigger and better.
“The lads have signed on the dotted line and will be back in the pyramid next June.
“It’s really special for them to do a hat-trick on that stage, something they’ve been wanting to do for a while.
“After the festival dates coincided with their upcoming tour, they said they couldn’t play there anymore.
“The band is building their team and are committed to making their performance one of Glastonbury’s most memorable.”
