Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has reiterated plans to strengthen its U.S. operations, including increasing service to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and expanding its partnership with JetBlue Airways.

The airline has launched its A350 aircraft on the Abu Dhabi-JFK route. From 15 November, Etihad Airways will add four more weekly flights to JFK with a total of 11 non-stop weekly flights to Abu Dhabi-New York. The new flights will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, while existing daily services will continue to be provided by Etihad’s new Airbus A350 aircraft, which have been deployed on the New York route since June.

In June, Etihad Airways unveiled Sustainability50, its new A350 aircraft, whose livery marks the 50th anniversary of the UAE Federation and Etihad Airways’ commitment to achieving zero carbon emissions by 2050.
